Dr. Bastian earned his doctorate at the University of Hamburg with the distinction magna cum laude and was awarded the 2015 prize for the best dental dissertation. From 2013 to 2024 he ran his own practice with an in-house dental laboratory, and in Switzerland he served among other roles as medical site director at Zahnärzte Bahnhof Zug. Since 2018 he has focused his work consistently on biological treatment concepts: 3D-based diagnostics, biocompatible materials and minimally invasive techniques — always with a view to the body as a whole.
